Bloody LGO, they really do take the Mickey, they finally agree to look at my complaint after saying they won't then I hear nothing now I get an email saying the investigator has gone on leave. Something tells me they are hoping I lose my composure but I shall stay polite and await their complaints procedure!!

Someone said they should have an e in their name as they resemble a children's game but I think the bricks with an e in them have far too much integrity to be linked to the LGO!!

Yes - same reasons given for delays here. The investigator had holiday and sickness and the LA complaints manager had holiday and was off sick. Then it was a busy time of year for the LA (school offers time) - quite how that delayed my complaint is anyone's guess Confused.

I expect the next time I chase them it will be the Christmas break causing delay then the Easter break etc,etc

Snap - mine went on longterm sick too.

I wonder though if the sick rate is a side effect if working for the LGO? If you really believed in the idea of fair play I would imagine the game playing and political directives would get you down?

I don't think they give a thought about justice etc - they are public servants with very generous sick 'entitlements' before restoring (their) efficiency is considered by their managers.

I fear you might be right, but I have to hope that there are some, who do want to do the right thing, naive I remain perhaps!
