My husband came in from the living room and said a young autistic boy was raped in a public toilet. He was down the street with his brother and went to the toilet. And there was cctv of people running away or something. I cant believe how sick and evil some people in this world can be. Im disgusted.

I wouldnt ever let my sons use the mens toilets but it just makes me feel so sick these sick perverts can do this to a 15 year old boy. I hope they get caught and sent down for years.

I know that, what age can we let our children go a public toilet on their own if theres people like that in our society. I feel so sorry for the young boy, he and his family must be devasted.

I don't knwo if I could ever trust ds1 to go alone. He is too literal minded. But what do you do? If I took a teenager in the ladies they would have a fit!! God knows how the poor boy is dealing with it.

my guess would be that they were trying it on. Surely someone doesn't go out and jsut do something like that. Prob jsut happened upon an 'easy' victim.

People like that don't know their arse from a hole in the ground so I don't imagine they would know or even care whether a child is vulnerable or not. Unless it was pre-meditated which seems unlikely.

we had a recent case where Little girl was grabbed whislt she went to the toilets - taken to the disabled toilet and raped and murdered. Her uncle etc ran around looking for her when they realised she had not come back - including banging on the door of the disabled loo - scarily they think the act may have been occurring whilst they were banging on the door looking for her

she was 8!!!!

thank goodness they caught the alleged perpetrator ( as we need to say until proven) BUT it raised the whole do you take them to the loo - luckily we have lots of parent rooms with toilets in them for children ( small or older) so it means dads can take them into the huge parent room and then they can go to a separate toilet.

Very very sad day.
