Just preparing for the posiibility that a special school might be the best option over MS if things dont improve.

School set up to manage ADHD and AS....your thoughts are very welcome.

At the risk of outing myself.. if you are looking at West Oxfordshire, take a look at Springfield School Witney.
It is a generic special school, with a high proportion of children with ASD as it has a (deservedly) good reputation for ASD.. we have a fair few children who should be at other SS in Oxfordshire who chose to come to us. (I work there and my son was there until he moved to college this summer..he has ASD and LDs) However all the children have some degree of learning disability..so depends on whether your son fits this category.

For the more academically able, there is Wood Eaton. Northfield house to name a few...there are quite a few options in the area:)

Thanks!!

DS does not have LD, but has significant barriers to learning driven by anxiety, distraction/poor concentration skills and impulsiveness.
He is 6 (almost 7) so needs primary for the moment, but do know some cater for the whole school career.
I'll have look at those mentioned and start getting soem approintments to have a look.
