suggestions for SN naming day readings

Does anyone have any nice readings,poems or verses suitable for a naming day which relates to SN......

I have a lovely general reading but would like something a little more specific to SN

Any ideas appreciated.

The only thing I can think of is the welcome to Holland thing, that might be a bit to much though?

yeah man, I can't read the holland thing out loud. Tried it once to a mum who had just had a baby with Down's syndrome and just sobbed it out, which wasn't very helpful of me!

I just want them to enjoy life and participate rather than just watch. Obviously I have to help with it too.

i did have a fab site but since we connected the broadband all my favourites have gone. Will search later when we get home from kindy and see what I can find.

thankyou for all who took time to post. there are some lovely suggestions here and Im sure my problem will be deciding which ones to use.......i just want the day to be perfect!!

I love the owrds of the Ronan Keating song- my dp has chose 'beautiful boy' by John Lennon- Id never heard of it but its pretty special and the words are very fitting.

Any further suggestions are welcome how matter hoe 'cheesy' they may be, Im a softie and often think the cheesy ones are the best.
