Hip dysplasia spuica cast, what do i need?

DD is going for an op in the new year and will be in a spica cast. Ive tried looking on the internet but theres so much information on there its hard to digest. I know I will need a specialist car seat but what else do I need/need to know?

I reckon entertainment will be high on the list!

Has she been in a Pavlik up until now? If so you'll already know that clothing is going to be a challenge... At least DDs can wear skirts!

and you'll need to think about what buggy/pushchair... many of the standard models won't accommodate a Pavlik/spica

If it's any help my DD had CHD and she is now a lithe and active 10 year old

A large bean bag would maybe be useful
