Yes he should be getting more help, but that does not mean he will. Does he have an IEP'S, individual education plan? Does your school have a SENCO, special educational needs coordinating officer? What does he/she say?

What year is he in?

Them whole special needs provision in schools changes back in April, miso each school has less cash to spend and they decide how they spend it.

Have you eve had him assessed at Dyslexia Action?

Hiya , he is on school action plus and he does have an IEP in place, he is currently in year 4 , yes i do have meetings with his senco regulary , i didnt want to challenge the senco untill i got some reasurrance i was in the right and he does need more help if that makes sence? No he hasnt been assesed by Dyslexia Action , they just tested him at school and came out moderate dyslexia,
Thanks for your reply :)
