Ds had his 'graduation' from his high school this week - basically collect your GCSE certificates and a farewell do.
He got a maths prize and an award for 'resilience and determination' both totally unexpected.
He also wandered off on his own to chat to former classmates who have mostly gone to different post-16 from him.
Proud moment all round.

Ds has his 'graduation' this week. I was really surprised he wants to go as he usually refrains from stuff like this.
