Child moving from ft mainstream to pt main/special

Right now my child has a TA every morning at mainstream as gets funded 15h from statement to pay for it. My child isn't coping in mainstream so looking at options one may be half week main half special and I'm wondering would that mean my child would still get their 15h support if they're only there 2.5 days?

Presumably they couldn't cope in mainstream without this support, so I imagine it would remain. However never assume anything....

But sounds like the time in mainstream would be supported, as now, and time in special would be maybe with a high ratio of helpers, not necessarily 1 to 1? When my dd moved to special she lost her 1 to 1.
