Meeting up with other parents and children

Are they any groups for parents and children with ASD, ADHD and/or SPD to meet up? How would I find out about any?
I've looked on a few autism websites and googled locally but nothing seems to come up.
I'd really love to be able to get together with others in a similar situation.

My son has dyspraxia and the dyspraxia foundation in my area do a monthly meet up. I'm sure other charities must do things like this?

Many have organised meet-ups via this board

Why not start a new thread asking if anyone wants to meet in you're area?

Perchkin · 11/11/2013 12:55

Thanks for that :)

you could try contact a family if they are active in your area. Our local one has a newsletter with all the groups in.

Theres a talk tomorrow by the NAS at Westbourne Grove Church in notting hill.

It's about raising children with ASD along side siblings who don't have it. There will be plenty of time to talk before and after the event.

Thanks all.
I'm in the East of England. Cambridgeshire/Suffolk/Essex border.

This one is in East Anglia but I guess Luton would be a bit too far for you.
