Quick update for anyone who remembers me

DS starts his new school on Monday. They are hoping by Christmas he will be there majority of the time!

It been a long hard slog and 4 years of isolation but hopefully slowly my family and I can rebuild our lives.

No tribunal needed from special school to independent specialist placement.

Thanks Maria and zzzzz, I have an appointment with CAF solicitor the least I want them to do is put in letters of complaint. They have messed so many lives in one family here not to mention targeting any more families. I won't allow it, some how if I find out who there next target is I'm going to help. Like I said I hope they don't think they have seen the last of me

Strangely enough, I nearly post a few weeks ago, I wrote a letter in response to the peads letter. She is new and only met dS once and he spent the full hour in the toilet anyway she has passed my letter over to NHS complaints dept asking them to make it a complaint. If she was trying to call my bluff I went ahead and agreed to making it a complaint. I have since been interviewed and awaiting outcome.

Oops, appointment with solicitor is not until next month, was originally to hurry the LA into either saying yes or tribunal to inde school, however now I have the outcome I may as well utilise the app efficiently haha

I lurk on this board a lot but rarely post because I don't feel I have the expertise to help anyone. I've read some of your previous threads and despaired for you to be in the position you've been in so I couldn't not de-lurk to say how happy I am for you and to say how much I hope this is the start of a successful new chapter for your family. Just posting to say I hope the new school go well and ds settles better than you expect. I am sure there will be some difficult moments whist adjusting, so hang on in there minidev!

Thanks bialy, they spent most of the day in the house on DSs terms, getting to know him, however they managed to take him for a short drive later in the afternoon.

They have come today and he's went out on another drive. The peace is fab, just hope he's not pushed too quick and it backfires but here's to staying positive about it all.
