Is it safe for children who have any developmental disorder to have a general anashetic? My son has been diagnosed with a severe speech and language disorder but is now finally making really good progress and talking loads. He needs to have a lump removed from below his eye so should be a straight forward op. But just occurred to me whether the drugs could impact on his progress. It would be awful if he suddenly regressed. Anyone know?
