My 3 year old has asd and I have been advised to get Melatonin for him as he doesnt sleep - I have 2 other children and am knackered. I asked my Doctor to prescribe some but she said no I had to get it from where he was diagnosed. They told me to go back to my GP. My GP has no experience of asd so isnt going to prescribe it. Is there any other place I can get it?

Ds2's Paediatrician prescribes it for us. I can only use the prescription at the hospital pharmacy.

DD's paediatrician has just given us trial prescription but got it from our local pharmacy.

I have to buy mine in as Paeds say I should just sleep trian him. FFS. I have been trying 6 years and he wakes and attacks his ytounger brothers in the night, when I am so shattered by lack of sleep I was starting not to hear him.

American pharmacies sell it online, or I can give you the name of someone I trust who sells it if that helps. CAt me.
