Just answered in the health section. Early signs for dd were not hitting physical milestones, rolling, sitting, not propping on tummy by 6 months, high tone (stiffness) in arms and legs. Brisk knee reflex, occasional clonus ( few beats in ankle). Also ANTR reflex didn't integrate until 1 yr.

My son has hemiplegia (type of cp) I couldn't find your original post x

Very similar signs to those listed by Summerday. My DD is 6yrs and on the mild end of the CP spectrum and is mostly affected in her balance and fine motor skills.

Did you find the big CP thread?? Smile

Haven't found your other post, but DD has spastic diplegia and signs for her were very slightly delayed sitting, crawling, etc and then a typical 'scissoring' of her legs when she tried to walk.

ds2 has mild spastic diplegia. He didn't roll over until a yr, could sit unaided shortly after as well as delayed his development was disordered so although could roll & sit he could not sit himself up, never crawled.
But walked (wobbly & clumsy) just before 2yrs.
As a young baby was very very floppy, little head control never naturally learned to reach for things, had to be taught everything.
DS2 was very prem so was delayed anyway & also has dx of learning difficulties & autism so lots of the early signs probably overlap. So not sure how typical he is.
