always ramble on and try and get as much out of the person as I can.

It's almost as if they have the answers that they are keeping from me? If that makes sense?

It makes perfect sense to me Blossomhill as I do the same too ........ I'd never identified why and your explanation is perfect. Think we're all searching for answers and sometimes even for the right questions to ask too.

I do the same Blossom, and I am sure I get exasperated looks. Often I get answers I don't really want to hear as well and wish I hadn't asked. I think the long and short of it is that they don't know all the answers, but we have to keep asking just in case...

Infact it was a very positive meeting with the SALT as dd has scored average for her receptive and expressive language skills. Which is fab as she didn't say a word until she was 3 (language at level of 11 month old) and was severely delayed at 4.
Dd still finding the "pragmatics" of language difficult but is improving.
I just ramble on and on though. Is there any one else like dd in the unit. Is she in the right place, has she got any friends, where do you think she will go for high school and it's as if I take everything she says as gospel.
Glad I am not alone then reiver and pages! Also have to say some things I know they are not allowed to say or answer. Especially surronding dx.
