At the end of my tether today.....

Sorry I just need a whinge!

Sam ahs been 'on one' all day: he got up early and ate all his trrigger foods (as he didnt settle until 12 last night I was exhausted and slept through), since then he ahs been totally going for it. Screechinf, fighting, breaking things. At tea time we had a phone call that a close family friend had died, and whilst DS2 was sympathetic, Sam just upped the attention seeking a gear. Dh was practically in tears but ahd to go in to work, and Sam just kept name calling and shouting I am glad X has died he is a smelly poo.

every time we have fathers day or birthdays or whatever this happens. He is now still at it, so has been for what- 13 hours? I scrubbed this house earlier, it has been trashed. DS2 can't be sent to bed or he is smacked by Sam, and I am upset about the death today

Oh dear PeachyClair. It does sound like attention seeking, trigger foods and maybe boredom all combined. You must be exhausted and upset

Peachyclair, I don't think there's much I can say to help, but I wanted to say I am really sorry about the news about your friend. Also sorry you have had such an awful day and Sam has been so difficult. I hope he gets to sleep soon so you can have a rest and a chance to take things in.
