Our local council is wanting to make some changes to the way they collect our medical waste. I think the changes they're wanting to make are actually quite sensible, but I'm not happy about the fact you now have to pay to be able to get on the scheme......
I know about the public sector equality duty where they have to show that they've taken into account the effects on disabled people of any decisions they've made, but I'm sure I remember something in the news in the last year or so about changes in the law so that the general equality duty will no longer apply. Does anyone know anything about that?
