Has anybody had any experience with their child having their small intestine removed?

not specifically but my daughter has had her large intestine removed and had several small bowel resections ..what would you like to know .

Yes, sorry, only just saw this thread. My daughter (now 5) had multiple bowel resections and now has v little small intestine ( around 23cm). As a result she is tpn- dependent ( fed intravenously). I can probably answer some of your questions as we have been doing all her care now for 5 years.
