Yippee! Today my son ate three peas, and a quarter of a mushroom!

With no meltdown, no retching, no outrage that they were even put on his plate to contaminate his sausages and mash. I calmly asked him to try them, he calmly co-operated, swallowed them, said the taste would take a bit of getting used to, and then continued to eat the rest of his dinner.

So, so, so proud of him. Posting here as I'm sure lots of people will understand what a big deal this is .....

"the taste will take a bit of getting used to" Smile love it!

I think you can definitely put today down as a two-steps-forward sort of day.

Very Envy but also delighted for you. We are making progress on fruit but still utter refusal on the veg front. Ds tolerates a few peas or a bit of broccoli on his plate but won't try them.
