Here are some suggested organisations that offer expert advice on special needs.

Has anyone got the energy to look at this post in AIBU?

Tbh, I made a rule with myself never to post on there, I am not saying I never look but I resist the urge to post. There are some seriously scary people over there Wink

I will go and have a look and if it is someone in need I will pm them and tell them to come over here Smile

Have had a look, it is a very sad situation and I feel for all concerned. It is worrying that most people are assuming that the sons difficulties are automatically being put down to poor parenting.

Some of the advise has been useful I dont think I will pm the OP and I definitely wont be posting.

Sad for the little girl and boy though!

Thanks, Ineed. I read this post in the morning and made the same decision as you. I think it was the right one as I saw the latest advice was suggesting the sil go on parenting classes, and another one was to report her to the NSPCC.

Hopefully the thread will quietly fade away, but I feel very sorry for the sil who is obviously not getting the right support.

Well done PolterGoose. I guess this thread got to me because I saw myself reflected in their eyes Sad. Heard the he's ok with me/once you're gone/at school etc line too often. Also the one about your anxieties rubbing off on him, no boundaries, etc etc Angry
