Hi I'm new to the forum, I have 3 boys aged 8 5 and 2. My eldest has asd ADHD SPD hyper mobility learning and developmental delay plus rapid growth and is at a pupil referral unit ATM as he's been excluded from 2 schools one ads base and a mainstream school. Also ds 2 has speech delay. I'm just looking for other parents to talk to in the same boat ds 1 was only diagnosed last year with asd ADHD and SPD so I'm still pretty new to it all.

Thanks for listening and reading x

Hi Momofthree and welcome to the SN boards. I have 2 boys - one is 7yo and dxd with ADHD, ASD, DCD, sensory problems, hypermobility, and one is 4yo/NT.

DS1 goes to a specialised school since last year, after going to MS for reception and year 1 with FT 1:1.

It's definitely a steep learning curve for us as parents, I remember feeling so overwhelmed by paperwork and info and school stuff the first year or two.

Hi mum of 3 I am also a mum of 3 only mine are girls, my eldest and youngest have Asd although only my youngest has an official diagnosis. I think my eldest probably hasnADHD too.

This is a great place to come for support, I have also found a realife support group in my area to be very helpful in the last couple of years. There will be people in similar situations to you and it good to talk.

Good luck Smile

Hi, DS2 has Aspergers/ASD and ADHD. He also has traits of dyspraxia, SPD & hypermobility. He is 11 and about to start secondary in two and a half weeks. Shock

DD had global developmental delay but is now within 'normal' developmental range. She also has a slow processing speed.

Hello - I'm also fairly new but it's quick to get into all this and very cathartic to share.

I have 2 boys - 6 year old with ASD and 4 year old with ASD/Aspergers, poss ADHD too (only recently diagnosed).

The struggle is daily / weekly / hourly even but truly believe that the more information I absorb on their 'condition', makes me stronger. Knowledge is power after all. This site is now quickly becoming a source of great comfort and information - just sharing with those who truly understand the life you lead and the battles you face.

Feel free to share / vent / ask questions, as there is always someone to whom you can relate. x
