One giant leap, 10 steps back, standstill, hit reverse, fast and furious style!

So all ther ogress made in the beginning of the year has come to a standstill and started to reverse. We now have no GP, been discharged from one hospital as DS refused to attend the last few appointments, even with phone call and them understanding his issues to a degree. The pead palmed us off leaving us in limbo for another year. The LA still haven't agreed to the cost of the new school placement, who wanted DS to get used to the building while it was closed for school holidays!! I won't be beat, even though thinkings are starting to look impossible again.

That sounds dire so wishing you lots of energy for your battles.

Ah thanks, been battling 12 year now, does get tiring. However I see a light at the end of the tunnel, just the tunnel keeps getting longer, whereas before there was just a long road with no end.

Anyway you'll lol at this, it was only the second visit with the pead, cos we didn't have one for years due to the arguments around him seeing the school pead. Don't know what it is about my DS that makes people want to run?!

All assessments have been done now Rippin. They all went really well and highlighted a load of stuff even I never realised just awaiting the LA to agree funds for education which is an obscene amount, although needed x

Has DS been allowed access to the school?

They have agreed the school but not the price iykwim. The price needs to be agreed before DS has access.

Lol, defo, they've screwed it to use during summer, just makes everyone's job harder when it gets busier, not that there's many in the school and he has a class to himself. Just might mean more home tuition.
