My daughter had her best ever dental appointment for compliance today. She allowed the dentist to scale her teeth and behaved fantastically throughout. She has had a filling and scale and polish previously under GA. She is 15 with SLD and always refuses to brush her teeth. We have a daily struggle with her and are now using the Dr Barman toothbrush suggested on here. We just need to build up to having a polish too 
next time.
It is normally a struggle to get her to sit in the dental chair at all. Just wanted to give others hope.
Next time she will probably be back to square one and my smugness will have worn off!
