Here are some suggested organisations that offer expert advice on special needs.

"Notschool" has anyone any experience of this?

Notschool is an alternative to traditional education. We use a personalised pedagogical approach to address individual learning needs. This includes those young people from challenging circumstances, who have exceptionally poor attendance, have disengaged themselves from Mainstream Education and are more at risk of becoming NEETs.

Qualified teachers offer effective feedback to guide learning and personal development within an online environment that is closely monitored to safeguard the young person's welfare. This provision is tailored to develop literacy, numeracy and learning to learn strategies. We rigorously track engagement, progress and achievement, providing regular up-to-date information for schools and parents.

I've only just come across this today and am intrigued as it may well suit dd.

If you know anyone who's been though Notschool, how was it funded, and how successful was it?
