my wee man is almost 3 and we have a working ASD dx. recently i have noticed he has been having these outbursts of what looks like over excited behaviour where he jumps up and down on his tip toes squeals high pitched and does a fiddly twiddly motion with his fingers. if he is near anyone at the time he will slam into them or try to push them over. these outbursts are not preceeded or connected with anything that i can see. does anyone else have experience of this and have advice on how to deal with it please. x

My friends DS does something similar and their doctor said it was tics. He xan't control them but everytime he gets excited it happens. Have you asked the doctor about them? My friend videod her son so she could show the doctor.
