Not sure what to expect , saw the salt last week and she said a lot of the signs point to autism but its more difficult with verbal children to diagnose ?.

Going armed with my list and hope it goes well and hope he is on a bad day .........yes really Haha !!

Bit nervous been a year nearly since we saw the pead !!

Yeah had to wait nearly that. I'm just worried he masks it quite well but other times can have major issues just hope she listens !

Hi ! So she listened to us and was very nice she said he does fit a lot of ASD traits but does things a lot of ASD don't also like pointing and eye contact (eye contact looks good but isn't really he will glance ) and it will take a while they want to be absolutely sure of a diagnosis etc .

She asked my opinion and I said for me he ticks to many ASD boxes I said what about him stimming? She said some children do that and common in developmental delay . so wait and see ....but he has communication difficulties , social anxiety, sensory problems !

Seeing her again on two weeks just parents this time to get more background information .

So not sure what I was expecting but I can't seem to get this frustrated feeling to go =( .....just want to know the issues that's all ...they are so careful in what they say aren't they?!
