SN children

Here are some suggested organisations that offer expert advice on special needs.

Saw this, helping ASD kids to uni, could be helpful?

Mine are years away as yet, but this does seem to be going in the right direction, what do people here think?

My Ds will start 6th form in Sept and is hoping to go to uni eventually.
I saw the info about this course (someone posted it in SN chat) and it looks helpful. Ds couldn't do it this year (still working on staying away from home on his own and starting new school for 6th form) but I hope funding will continue so that he can do it next year.
He sounded interested when I told him which is a positive as he tends to close his mind to future challenges.

Thank you. I will pass this on where appropriate. It's an excellent transition opportunity.

Oh wow.
I wonder if DS (Asperger's) could get on that? (Mind you, as it's during the school term, the idea of Not Being In School might cause a short-circuit or two.)

This looks great, maybe other universities will follow their lead and hopefully also consider offering such support to ASD students. When DS is old enough this would be exactly what he would need.
