School info to Peaditrician

i really want to see what the school have written in their report/queationairre to our Paed about ds at school, am i allowed to see it? can i request a copy. i know ds school are playing things down so i would like to see what they are saying. i wanted to ask Paed today as she read out some of it to me but not all. i nearly asked but didnt.

You could make a Subject Access Request, and wait up to 40 days for access to your child's records.

If however you're on good terms with school, it may be worth just asking for a copy. If you don't ask you don't get

apparently the school didnt take a copy of the forms they filled out for peditrician about ds - find that a bit strange!
