Hi,

DD is 3.4 and has had awareness of when she has done a wee for a while now. I've gradually been introducing her to the concept of the toilet for the past 6 months & she will now quite happily sit on it whilst she draws / sings with me etc.

I've also been role playing with her dolls for the past 3 months & whilst she happily takes them to the toilet all the time, she will only ever tell me she needs the toilet after she has had a wee.

I've been stepping it up in the last few weeks & have bought her the pretty pink pull up nappies & am taking her to the toilet every hour, doing lots of cheers etc. when she actually goes in the toilet, but to be honest i think those times have been more luck than a conscious decision on her part.

Am I pushing things too soon? I'm conscious that my decision to train, in part, is because she's starting to get too big to fit in standard supermarket nappies, but at the same time I don't want to push her too much and make the whole thing too stressful for her.

Does anyone have any tips they can share please?
