Was DS 8th birthday yesterday and as he cant handle too much chaos we dont have home parties so he and I made party bags to give you his class at school. Inside he chose to put little plane kits and some sweets.

The teachers all wished him happy birthday and they all had cake. THEN DS actually handed out all the party bags himself! His teacher then left the class to put them together and then said right off to the hall!

There they said they needed a target and DS was put in the middle. They all sung happy birthday and shot all their planes up in the air over him :)

He said it was the best "birthday party" he had ever had gulp :)

✌ that's wonderful!

Yes fab school indeed! a year ago I would pulling a very troubled boy out of school so to hear this from him was amazing. Plus the fact a year ago he would have taken great offence at being in among 30 kids and assuming they wanted to hurt him with the planes! :)

That is fab! What a lovely teacher to do that!

MumuDeLulu · 21/06/2013 23:32

Go minicoff and class!
I reckon that, every time a fabulous school or sensible teacher does the right thing by one of our dc, a faraway goose flaps its wings, and somewhere, this influences a tornado's path diverting it towards a caring carrot Grin

That's lovely, coff33. What a difference a year makes. This time last year the previous school were banning him from their school trip. This year he's included and actually feels wanted there. So happy for him. Grin

Thanks all and you are right Ellen according to HT he was never going to survive in MS. He has even been on a sleep over trip this month with them! Admittedly he slept fully clothed but hey ho good enough for me :)
