Today CQC will the LGO be found out next?

Just pondering whether the next regulator to be checked out may be the LGO?

Well, this wasn't a case of being checked out so much as being found out! I think there is massive dysfunction in all these oversight bodies as bureaucratic cronies move from one body to another with little energy or commitment to transparency and serving the public.

The ICO has been nearly as bad as the ICO - even their lawyers can't get the law right.

Disgraceful!

In the area I live the CYPS have been under fire by a government investigation into child sexual exploitation by gangs. They found the LA to be at grave fault and their actions both at the time of events and subsequently deeply concerning and have said that they do not understand why OFSTED removed the ordered to improve status very recently and were going to be relating their concerns to them.

Low and behold they have an OFSTED inspection next week! I suspect the CQC may be the first of many.
