Anyone had to crush melatonin tablets for their dcs?

Hello dd2 has been given a repeat prescription of melatonin and instead of liquid she has been given tablets .Has anyone been prescribed these tablets and crushed them as dd is three and obviously can't swallow tablets

We use the dissolve-on-the-tongue version but I am sure crushing them is fine

Yes we do. We bought a pill crusher from the chemist and mix with strawberry yakult type drinks and it is then undetectable
