91% of local government officers/ elected members believe LAs benefit from the work of the LGO. I wonder why? here

This is why we keep getting hosepipe bans in a country where it rarely stops raining!

INDEPENDENT (no not nepotistic cronies, or where you farm your incompetent staff out to pasture!) watchdogs are needed in many areas of British life. In children's services the need is especially acute.
