Biomed intervetions for ASD? Any others out there?

Hi, My son is likely aspergers with sensory processing probs. We are doing biomedical interventions, just waiting for results of hair, urine and stool tests. We've been hovering around for a while with firstly the GAPS diet, then GfCfSf and using fish oils and probiotics. Will be doing a more individualised approach once we have the results. Is there anyone else out there on a similar path? :)

Hi nourishing buttons, I've just seen a biomed doc last week who has suggested a GF/DF diet. I have started the DF this week as it seemed to be quite easy to introduce and apparently you see the results quite quick if it's working so thought we would give it a go for a few weeks and see. We have been offered tests on hair, urine and stool but havnt had the report back yet. Not sure if we will do the tests, what do the results tell you? I have used fish oils for about a year with dd. how old is your son?

Gluten free certainly helps our DD who has AS. No other supplements or interventions, but maybe when hormones kick in...!
