Retrain in SEN to fit around being a carer of ASD boy. What to do?

I would like to retrain and have another career around my two boys. DS1 dyslexic. DS2 High functioning ASD delayed expressive language with sensory processing disorder.

My current career would take me out of the house 7am till 7pm which is no good for DS2. My colleague has suggested I work at same school as DS2 partime which is a very good idea.

The thing is I am trapped by my hubby's business and would not make it worthwhile. However, since starting tribunal proceedings for Refusal to Asess for Statutory Assessment I have noticed that the Educational Pyschologist's bill was huge and doing that partime may make it worth while to work partime. I expect this would not be a walk in the park and would take years to complete.

Other options are things which would actually help the children such as ASD degree at Birmingham, Speech and Language therapy, Occupational Therapy or becoming a SEN specialist lawyer.

Having read the bucket list thread I have realised I need to do more education.

What to do? What are the biggest shortages? Are there other things which I have not thought of? What have you done? How did you get round this problem?
