DS is 8 and dyspraxic with SPD. He is "coping" with the year 3 curriculum at a private school with support. However I don't think they are really giving him the strategies to move forward and progress on his own - depressingly ( I have spent so much time and energy trying to explain) because they just don't understand dyspraxia. DS did a typing course at Emerson house and I was really impressed, we are going to go and talk to them about him maybe giing there a couple of times a week - it will be a huge commitment, and really I want to know if it is worth it.

Hi
I am in similar situation - did you go ahead? If so what has your experience been like? We went to Lindamood Bell recently for assessment, cost of 4 weeks tuition, 4 hours a day £9000!
