Year 2 to Year 3 tranferring schools

It has been confirmed verbally to me by Head at Junior School that DS will have a place there come this September.

Am not completely tearing my hair out over this as I have the above info. However, I am still awaiting the draft statement with change of school name on it. Has anyone else waited a long time for a revised statement in such circumstances?. Think the LEA will get yet another phone call from me after half term if its not received.

BTW I don't blame them for this particular debacle - County have taken over the admissions process this year (used to be the Junior schools) and I have come to the conclusion that I would not send any of that shower out for a cut loaf.

Bet this happens come year 6 to 7 as well!. I'll be more prepared then!!:).

My dd is going into year 3 but is in a primary school. As dd is in the unit the statement is funded through that so thankfully don't to worry.

Really hope they will hurry up and sort it out for you. Fingers crossed you won't wait too long, as if you don't have enough to worry about!
