Amended Draft Statement rec'd - what happens next at the meeting with LA

Can someone help please?

Just received our amended draft statement. All our changes are on the amended one, however, part 4 has been left blank and no school named. We had asked for a specialist independent school to be named in part 4.

We now have 15 days to arrange a meeting with the LA.

What do you think is likely to happen? Are they going to make us go to tribunal for part 4?

This has been a long, hard and difficult road.........a prayer without end

Think they don't name school in part 4 on proposed statement, only on the final statement. Do you have an indication whether LA agree to school you want?

School was left blank on the proposed statement. We then gave them our amendments to the draft and also the name of the school we would like him to go to (specialist independent). We now have the amended proposed statement with all our amendments incorporated but school left blank.

I have to inform them whether we agree/not agree with the amended proposed statement. How do I agree if there is no name in part 4?

Meeting with LA for the first time to discuss. Just thought maybe someone on here could help explain the process.

Are the agreed amendments for provision that cannot be given in the m/s? ie a particular environment, specialist teachers, small class, SALT and OT embedded in teaching plus 1:1 therapy

What have the LA said about placement? Have they told you which school they have approached or intend to approach if you can agree that parts 2 and 3 provide a full and accurate picture of your child's needs?

Caseworker did not mention anything about school placement, she just sent me the amended draft that incorporates all of our corrections. They are asking if we agree/disagree to inform them within 15 days. We can also have a meeting with them. As they have our request and details of a specialist school, I thought they'd have either mentioned his current school or something else at this stage. That's why I don't understand what I'm agreeing/disagreeing to.
