activities and holidays with sn children

Hi.
I have an idea of setting up an information point/a website for parents and carers to help plan their holiday when they have a child with a disability or special need.
I am thinking of special swimming/soft play and other places which I would recommend as a parent of a child with a disability. Would anyone be interested in this informtion and where would you like to see it?

Raspberry - As a parent of a child with special needs in terms of physical development delay and social difficulties, I would actually appreciate information on inclusive activity centres and holiday venues.

In an ideal world All children's activities would be inclusive but it would be a good idea to know which are and which aren't.
We have had many an activity week cut short by staff saying don't bring your ds back or excluding him from activities. We don't do them anymore I did try when he was younger but they didn't work out very well so I stopped bothering. On one football one at the end the coach gave everyone a prize except my ds!

Many Thanks for your replies, have taken them on board. I do wish that more things could be inclusive but lets face it when you go to soft play or swimming- you get a bunch of kids just staring at your child, asking them questions like 'why are you doing that'? (you get the picture) I know my son doesnt give a shiny but I DO.

It might be useful to have a website or list even for locals. It took me years to discover that a soft play only a few miles away (not the nearest) had a exclusive disabilty session once a month and as you say it makes life easier.

Something like this might be prepared to add a 'special needs' button to their other search options...
