Oh I'm so sorry to hear it's reached that point Sad but I quite understand.

How about using the online documents provided by DFE? You could select which year group seems most appropriate and change as needed? Also might be worth talking to the NAS - they might have some advice and support for you?

Very best of luck too.

Hi, I've just joined! I'm home educating my 6 year old with suspected autism (his current diagnosis is DAMP syndrome). He's never been to school, and hopefully never will be.

My first suggestion would be to find local home educators. Which county are you in? You can also join national HE lists, such this one: groups.yahoo.com/group/homeeducationandspecialneeds/

A new website has just been set up to answer FAQ about HEing with SEN and statements: www.ehe-sen.org.uk/

If you're on Facebook then there's a group on there called Home Educating Our Special Needs Children which you also might find useful.
