Hi would any of you lovely mumsnetters be able to point me in the right direction?

I found this board, I am waiting to see paediatric Dr to have my ds assessed for dyspraxia. Would really appreciate help in understanding the abbreviations on here.
Thanks in advance.

Hi saul and welcome to the board. Another bit of advice, if you ask quite specific questions you can get better support from people in the know.

Good luck with the assessments Smile

Hello saulaboutme
There's a dyspraxia support thread near the bottom of this page - come and say hello!

saulaboutme · 19/03/2013 00:11

Fab thanks you.

I'm hoping once we've seen the multisensory team we'll be able to put things in place for ds to cope better. And for us as well. He has alot of help at school thankfully but his day to day life and our understanding of the way he is can be strained.
I suppose came here to explore and get insight into dyspraxia and to see now that we're not alone.
