Yes. It is often an attempt for the LA to get you to tell them all your tactics and strategies for an appeal,

It might not be, but just in case I woukd tread very carefully. Talk for 5% of the time and let them do the rest. This is THEIR opportunity to avoid an appeal, no yours.

Thanks starlight Smilegood job I read your message before I went in to the meeting so I was careful brief and to the point. I was very nervous though! But i tried to hide it so i hope they didn't notice.
I will wait to see what happens next but I hope they don't go all the way to appeal. My poor Ds is very down and really struggling at school it gets me so upset all this waiting!

Your poor ds. Hopefully the LA will back down, but if they don't you can consider today to have been good practice.
