Ds has SPD and hates socks. The length of his feet is a 4.5 but he wears shoes a size bigger from Start-rite.

He/I struggle to get his size 4.5-7 socks on and wondered if anyone can recommend socks for wide feet?

My children all have wide feet and a high instep, socks being too tight is a pita. I have found gap socks to be quite good :)

Grin SPD = Sensory Processing Disorder

Thanks for all the excellent suggestions. Yup, high instep here too, will definitely try Gap and Sensory Smart.

GAP is good. Next socks are rubbish but funnily Tesco are pretty good. My dd2 hates socks, but she'll wear the Tesco ones!!

I also hate socks. My dh thinks I'm weird, but I wear my boots barefoot! Is that an option? Or is it school regs?

Ah I thought it must have another meaning!

Just ordered two pairs from Sensory Smart - £16.45 Shock, a small and a large. Can't wait till they come!

Ds loves the socks - he says they don't make his feet itch, and they're really easy to get on Smile Thanks
