In bed
With flu
Kids haven't even been in to see me :(.....think they are scared of the pale sweaty coughing husk that has replaced their mother!
Happy Mother's Day to you all, whatever you are doing today x

Got up. Kids ate my choc. Got a sore throat. Brother rang to get me to sort out all his problems (brother has cerebral palsy and lives in supported accommodation) and now DS is moaning as he wants the day to 'mean something' and I just want to go to bed and watch a dvd!

I have spent all week effectively TA'ing for DS in school and working eves on a writing deadline until 11 - I worked 9am to 11pm.

Am I bad to think mother's day with Mad Men and chocs in bed is good enough for me?

Happy Mothers day to all, I got a lovely card and glass of water, ds2 not allowed use the kettle yet, and then he told me I could treat him to lunch as he has no money but if I give him money he will pay when we were finished, fair enough, we're back now, pjs on, fire lighting and I'm seriously thinking of a take away later, (would that be bad considering we had lunch out)Grin

Hope all of you feeling under the weather are better soon

Being partial to a Boost sounds a bit suggestive in the same breath as talking about scrummy Italian rugby players. Mmmmm.

Evening all hope your Mothers Days all went well xx

Badvoc you have my sympathy we have only been a few days free of the flu in this house too and we are still lagging in energy so rest upand hope you recover quickly.

Had to work today as my mate who covers on Sundays put his back out so no lay in for me and it was freezing so I celebrated in the shop with a hot water bottle, cup hot chocolate and 2 x frys chocolate creeeeeeaaams yum. Got home to a roast dinner and had to have the carrots in a separate bowl due to it being DS contribution to my mothers day dinner. In other words he peeled them Grin
