DH said 'DD2, you can't be hungry.'

DD2: 'I am hungry! I am'

DH 'DD2, I'm not hungry, so you can't possibly be hungry!'

I interject and say 'hold on...that doesn't follow...' and he said 'no, there's no way she can be hungry because we had lunch at the same time and I'm not hungry!'

Mmm but do you say it to point out that he's being greedy, for example, or do you truly believe that if you aren't hungry then he can't be?

DH truly believes that it isn't possible for them to be hungry if he isn't.
