cheeseypeas · 27/04/2006 21:55

Hello,

Sorry for interupting but just wanted to say to Jimjams, as the original poster of the MMR jab thread, that your info and contributions (especially the bulleted one at the end) have been very useful for me and exactly the kind of thing I was asking for.

Just wanted to say that as you posted "I think the last 24 hours has taught me I should stay away from mumsnet. "

Jimjamskeepingoffvaxthreads · 27/04/2006 22:10

cheers cheeseypeas. I think the bulleted one covered most things.

The staying away thing is more to do with me than anyone else, don't worry about that. Actually I should satyu away at the moment because I should be working. Made themistake of checking the trifle thread.

coppertop · 28/04/2006 13:25

"You do the shake and vax
To put the freshness bax.." :o

If you haven't found it yet, Jenk, it's the MMR thread from yesterday. Something like "MMR - Did you give it to your baby?".

oh it's the selfish irresponsible thing that gets to me. I feel like shaking people then and shouting "don't you understand what is at stake for us", then I feel a bit fruitcake. I don't care what anyone else decides- it's an individual decision - There's no right or wrong anyway (well you don't know which is the "right" decision until after the event), so I don't mind putting the record straight on things like whether Wakefield is making money out of singles etc But being accused of being selfish for not vaccinating when we have a ds who we believe to have been severely damaged by a vaccine just gets my head exploding. I do think I should stay off them because those threads get to me more than a website should, and tbh got enough going on in RL. Perhaps next time there's a thread Socci we should leave everyone to it and chunter away on an alternative thread :o Can you CAT - if so CAT me next time and we can have the discussion by email :o

eidsvold · 29/04/2006 10:16

you're right jimjams... for me telling me I am morally irresponsible, blinkered, sweeping things under the carpet, sponger off the government and others that gets right up my nose....

So I hereby swear I will try my hardest to stay away from antenatal testing threads [holds hand on heart]

OP posts:
eidsvold · 29/04/2006 10:18

you may be selfish and irresponsible Wink but you have a ways to go to catch up to

morally irresponsible lil ol me Grin

( am joking - you are not really selfish and irresponsible - in case it is a bad day )
