Ok, after much scouting for suitable resonably priced London venues (thank you once again Messmonster for your tireless research, we have secured a venue near Liverpool Street for Saturday, February 23rd, 2013.

Email me on [email protected] and I will send you the full details.

I need at least 15 delegates to make this financially viable for me.
At least 25 people had indicated a stornig interest in attending an event in London when Messmonster posted up an online survey.

Looking forward to hearing from you all Smile

Will you be doing any in the North?

moondog · 06/02/2013 16:28

I did one in Birmingham last spring and will do one anywhere-as long as there is sufficient demand! Smile

You are indeed right about the face to face thing...

Having been on lots of various courses/training etc run by LA, which frankly I could have run better myself, I was presuming that handouts from a course run by someone who actually knows what they are talking about would be better than nothing.

moondog · 07/02/2013 16:54

Oh dear!
Sounds like a lot of the courses I have been on.
My pet hate is courses to 'raise awareness'
I fight the urge to stand up and bellow 'We're all bloody aware thanks. Now we want some concrete action!'

starlightmckenzie · 07/02/2013 18:53

It's impossible to 'raise awareness' without generalising I have experienced.

These courses are all full of 'they like this, they do this, they can't do this, they hate this..........'

pisses me off......

Aargh. Properly gutted now Sad. DH off to the other side of the country for some unnecessary hobby-related event Angry and no-one else to leave dc with.

MerryCouthyMows · 10/02/2013 01:18

Interested. Will try to figure out childcare, think DS2 & DS3 can go to their dad's as it's a fortnight away. Maybe I can find someone to have DD & DS1...

MerryCouthyMows · 10/02/2013 01:19

Will email in the morning.

I've just realised today that I haven't yet sent my form and cheque back to Moondog for the 23rd Blush Blush. I WILL do it tomorrow.

Made me wonder, I've not seen many confirmations on here, who else has signed up/is going to?

Looks like I'm going to have Moondog and her colleague all to myself then Confused Smile

Anyone else? Anyone....?

StarlightMcKenzie · 12/02/2013 21:50

I'm just trying to figure out how many from my party. At least one but trying to get childcare is tricky for my DH to accompany.

Although, someone on another thread said they were scared of meeting me Confused and so didn't want to confirm here in case I put them off.

moondog · 12/02/2013 21:54

Can I reassure you all that Starlight is a very lovely person?
