DS4 (5) is deaf and non verbal ASD - Watching NumTums this morning on CBeebies, before rushing out to school, when he started counting along with the program. Granted that it could be construed as echolalia, but seeing as he can't speak I was delighted that he was copying the rhythm and tone as if he was saying 1,2,3,4 etc to 10! He was so engaged with it, and pleased with himself.
