I just wanted to wish you all a very merry Christmas from me, DH and the four bear cubs. It's been lovely getting to know many of you over this year and to receive help and advice and to be able to give some of you the benefit of my er...... "wisdom and experience"

So far we have had stomach flu (recovering now, phew) and ds has just been found eating cat poo (see other thread), but compared to last year - where we had an ambulance dash to hospital on christmas eve with ds, and dds and dh had to trawl to and fro to hospital over christmas, this year is quiet and peaceful.

It's all over, we've survived it and now to relax for a while and play with new toys.

I know I'm really late but haven't been near computer for days. So hope you all had a good Christmas and all the best for the rest of the holidays.

Ds1 was a star yesterday, not a single meltdown and so happy and smiley all day ..... today he is making up for it - big time.

Fortunately I was in bed until an hour ago, so poor old dh has had to deal with it all.

He bought himself Minecraft last week as well - urgh! Can't see the attraction myself. Fortunately, since then both boys have lost laptop rights and are having to earn them back, so we have been dig-dig-digging free for a few days now.

We bought the whole family a Wii for Christmas, on the Amazon Black Deals thingy and everyone had lots of fun playing Mario Kartz last night. Oh my goodness, dd (3) is an absolute demon on the track, which was interesting - as we were sharing a steering wheel. Seriously considering never letting her learn to drive a real car!
