I had been nominated for the xmas appeal a few weeks ago, which was lovely, but it slipped my mind. However, today i received a gift which is very much appreciated, a lovely written card to go with it. It was the nicest thing i ever received and i was in tears, could not believe a stranger could be so nice and so thoughtful, my hubby was so blown away too he was almost in tears. So, for the lovely MN stranger, thank you so much from the bottom of my heart, it really means the world to me xxxxx

Shazzer, there's a thank-you thread stickied in the Christmas topic. You can let your secret Santa know your gift has arrived. Smile

No, I didn't know about the thank-ou thread, either, until someone linked it for me. So glad I found it. Isn't it a lovely idea? Still feel all warm about being nominated at all. Blush

At some point in the year I'm sure I'll stop wandering round the house in a daze going "wow, oh wow".

Thanks from the bottom of my heart to who ever sent my gift. Touched doesn't begin to describe how I felt when I got it this morning.
