hi my daughter is 2 1/2 and was diagnosed with core autism on severe side of spectrum 3 weeks ago.
she has been having very frequent vacant episodes which usually last around 10 seconds but has had longer ones up to 2-3 mins.
they think it could be absnce epilepsy which we dont know a lot about.
she has an appointment for an EEG in 2 weeks which im quite worried about how to keep her still for so long and i dont think she will let them put the things on her head she doesnt like things that are different and gets very upset and doesnt understand when you talk to her.
i have been told she can take a dvd to watch and unfortuantly we dont have an ipad for her yet but she does like to play with some games on my phone.
just wondering if anyone else whose been in a similar position would have any advice
